Everest Base Camp Trek

Everest base camp trek started at the beginning of the 1920s.Edmund Hillary and sherpa Tenzing Norgay became the first climbers, they reached the summit of Mount Everest in 1953,29 May.

Everest stands at 8,848 metres above sea level and is the highest mountain in the world.There are two main base camps on Mount Everest one is North Base camp in Tibet,China and the other one is South Base Camp in Nepal. The hottest month is May. In spring the vast clear blue skies will blow your mind, the views are beautiful in this season and temperatures are comfortable. This is a high altitude trek for which AMS or Acute Mountain Sickness is a risk in this particular region. Over 8,000 feet altitude it can be a risk for anyone. Make sure that you have enough water with you,you can also carry an oxygen cylinder with you. This is a difficult trek and the total trekking distance is 130 kilometres (approx). You can trek here from late March-May,late September-November.

LangTang Trek
